Is BucketHead too hippy for you? Staxx Brothers too cosmic? Handful of Luvin’ delve too deep into the jamhole? The lineup can always be better, this isn’t a wanabeearroo it’s the fuckin’ Meltdown. It really doesn’t matter who plays honestly, it’s the concept of being at Meltdown and the people you’re with. I’m never thrilled on the lineup but I am always, always pleasantly surprised.

Have you listened to On the One? Not hippie music, its funk, and multiple people tell me they will steal the show. Buckethead will scare the hippies. Blake Lewis, c’mon he is teeny pop-star now. That 1 Guy, doesnt have a category. Everyone Orch,l its always different, who knows what to expect.

The Meltdown is about people not bands. Plus this year’s line-up looks great to me.

Give some of the bands a chance. I have always come away surprised at how good many of the bands are that I have never heard. That is what makes it special, hearing something new.
